Nutritious well-balanced meals are provided throughout the day. They are prepared by our cook in our well-equipped kitchen. Special diets can also be catered for. Our menu is rotated weekly and a copy is available on request.

‘Smiles for Life’
The North West has the highest percentage of tooth decay in the UK therefore we encourage children to brush their teeth after lunch. We offer a selection of fresh fruits (minimum of 5 varieties) for all snack times as opposes to biscuits and crisps e.t.c.
We also encourage only water and milk instead of sugary fruit drinks.
We have a ‘smiles for life’ booklet that parents are welcome to view at any time. As part of thr routine in the nursery we ask all parents to bring in a toothbrush, as all children are encouraged to brush their teeth after their dinner.

Birthday parties will be arranged and all festivals are celebrated during the year.
Visits by the police, fire brigade and other authorities are a regular feature to the nursery.
Outings to the library, parks, shops and the zoo are regular features at our nursery.
We also welcome parents to assist with these outings if required.

Educational play activities will be given high priority and all our equipment will reflect and offer positive images of a wide range of cultures and ethnic groups as well as gender.
